Just announced Facebook is set to terminate Facebook Analytics come June 30, 2021.

As it currently exists, Facebook Analytics is a free analytic tool, that Facebook users can access from their browser or the Facebook Analytics mobile app. Facebook Analytics is extremely beneficial and used amongst business owners today, to understand how individual users interact with their business website, Facebook profile page, app, or additional supported event source.

The large social media network announced on Tuesday, March 31, 2021, in their Business Help Center Post that through June 30, 2021, Facebook users will still be able to access essential reports, export charts and tables, and explore insights. After June 30, 2021, those reports, charts, tables, and insights your company loves to analyze, will be gone. So make sure the date of June 30, 2021, is marked on your calendars now.

Stressed out yet? Don’t be. Until June 30, 2021, Facebook users can export data into a CVS file right to a computer desktop. Identified data can be exported simply by clicking on the arrow in the top-right corner of each chart or table you want downloaded.

For businesses who utilize Facebook Analytics, don’t worry, Facebook isn’t leaving you high and dry. Facebook announced they are releasing helpful analytic alternatives that users should familiars themselves with before the dreaded June 30 date. Facebooks Business Help Center Post directs businesses to three other business tools that can assist companies in understanding metrics of: advertising, presences, and activities on Facebook.

According to Facebook, there are three other helpful business analytic tools users should familiarize their business with as it relates to Facebook before the June 30 cut off. The three tools include:

Facebook Business Suite, allows users to manage their Facebook business accounts, by providing users with comprehensive insights regarding their target audience, content, and trends. Facebook noted that this analytic tool may not be available to users just yet, so hang tight.

Event Manager, is a helpful tool as it allows a user to assemble and manage Facebook Business Tools such as Facebook pixel and Conversions API, and it reports actions taken on a user’s website, in their app, and even in their physical store.

Ads Manager, allows users to view, make edits, and see results from all their Facebook campaigns, ad sets, and ads.

While Facebook Analytics is going away come June 30, 2021, Facebook isn’t leaving their users empty-handed. Facebook knows users crave analytics, so their new rollout of helpful business analytic tools, is sure to provide users with comprehensive analytics and reporting features. Although, users may have to wait until the social network announces a release date for such tools. Until the tools are released, make sure your business takes advantage of the few months left and export your company specific reports, charts, tables, and insights into a CVS file before June 30, 2021. After that, take some time to familiarize your business with the three helpful business analytic tools that can help in understanding your businesses advertising, presences, and activities on Facebook.

When the new Facebook analytic tools are released, be sure to check back as I’ll provide a comprehensive comparisons and overview of the new analytic tools.
