Social Media Marketing Intern

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to engage audiences through various platforms. As a Social Media Intern, you will assist in developing and executing social media strategies on different platforms like Instagram, TikTok, etc. that enhance our brand presence and connect with our target audience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities using tools like Hootsuite or similar.
• Conduct social listening to gather insights on audience preferences and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop advertising campaigns that align with our brand goals.
• Edit videos and create graphics for social media posts to enhance visual appeal.
• Proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand voice before publication.
• Capture high-quality photographs for use in social media posts and marketing materials.
• Analyze performance metrics of social media campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and best practices is preferred.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Experience with video editing software is desirable.
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail for proofreading tasks.
• Knowledge of web analytics tools and social media management platforms is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A passion for staying updated on the latest trends in social media and digital marketing.
