The Role: (1) Full-time Social Media Manager

community we know as Connect. While the name has changed over the years, the spirit of the Church has

remained: a bible teaching, spirit filled community where lives are transformed, relationships flourish, and the

love of God permeates every corner. Pastor Ernie and Randa Frye pioneered our church and established a

dynamic ministry that has a rich legacy. Our Lead Pastor, Deryck Frye, has continued to carry this legacy

forward. Under Pastor Deryck’s leadership Connect has exploded! Not only is Connect consistently expanding

Christian Life:

As an employee of Connect Church in this job position, you are an important member of the church leadership

team. This job position requires that you be available and prepared to preach, teach, conduct outreach ministries,

visitation, or provide pastoral counseling sessions. Because of the nature of these types of ministries it is an

absolute necessity that you possess and maintain a testimony or lifestyle that is above reproach in accordance with

Scripture. What you do on your own time may seriously affect your ability to perform these types of ministries,

which are an important part of your job.

 

The Social Media Manager will share the gospel of Jesus Christ and build digital engagement on social media

platforms that encourage others to find and follow Jesus and make a difference for eternity through the ministries

of Connect Church.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Social media oversee and manage all ministry social media accounts. Collaborate with ministry leaders to

create effective social media goals for each ministry. Build strategies and systems and effectively execute

those strategies through leadership, delegation and content creation.

  • Content creation for social media platforms. Study trends to maximize content performance and serve as

quality control for brand alignment of posted content.

  • Lead a Dream Team of content creators who support the social media strategy. Cooperate with staff to

lead, train and deploy a Dream Team to make a difference using their creative gifts. Pray for team

members, provide biblical advice and disciple team members to grow spiritually.

  • Train others: Train others in the art of content creation to support social media strategies.
  • Contribute to the general digital marketing strategies and distribution channels.

Skills/Experience you’ll need:

  • Experience managing social media accounts
  • Content creation and editing skills – photo, video, graphic design
  • People person

  • Articulate with excellent written communication skills

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

Pay: $45,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year
