SUMMARY:

A Social Media Coordinator/Marketing Assistant on the Coeur d’Alene Casino marketing team is in charge of assisting the Social Media Manager in social media-related tasks, such as to plan, create, manage, implement, and evaluate the social media marketing for Coeur d’Alene Casino. In addition, the assistant will be assisting in other marketing department-related tasks, such as, but not limited to promotions and graphic design.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in executing a results-driven social media strategy.
  • Assist in development and curation of engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across all social media channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create a social media content calendar.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Establishing relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on social media
  • Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
  • Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral
  • Help organize and coordinate casino promotions
  • Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs
  • Work with the marketing team to manage brand and marketing initiatives

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

  • Some marketing experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools

 

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools and digital media formats
  • Excellent social listening skills
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
  • Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment

 

Physical Demands:
