The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for managing and enhancing Santa Fe Animal Shelter’s (“the Shelter”) digital presence. This role will focus on increasing the visibility of adoptable animals, promoting shelter events, and fostering community engagement through social media. Key responsibilities include creating and scheduling daily content, responding to audience interactions, collaborating with influencers, and monitoring community conversations. The Social Media Coordinator will also support event promotion efforts, providing live coverage and engagement during key adoption and fundraising events. By handling these essential tasks, this position will allow the Marketing and Communications Manager to focus on strategic initiatives, media relations, and broader community outreach efforts.
