Senior Search Engine Optimization Strategist

We’re on the search for a Sr. SEO Strategist to join Colle McVoy’s established performance marketing team. The ideal candidate will be just as comfortable managing data/product feeds as they are making data-backed recommendations that impact paid search strategy, on-site optimizations, and the overall path to conversion for our eCommerce clients. While dedicated to eCommerce strategy, we’re also seeking someone who understands performance media and is curious, collaborative, outgoing and passionate about not only about their craft but all things media, data, marketing, and culture.


  • Collaborate on the creation and optimization of product & design content for product/catalog feeds and content management systems that inform paid media strategies.
  • Continuously optimize product detail page copy, titles, descriptions, keywords, and UX to improve the customer shopping experience and increase SEO strength.
  • Collaborate with Search Engine Marketing (paid search) team to incorporate relevant keywords strategically within product descriptions to improve organic search engine visibility as well as inform paid search strategies.
  • Audit competitor websites and leverage SEO tools to identify gaps in existing marketing content and curate new content as applicable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability, accurate representation online, and drive the best customer experience across eCommerce touchpoints.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (media, data science, and creative) to ensure consistency of messaging and branding across eCommerce campaigns and their respective platforms.
  • Conduct A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of new features and experiences and continuously iterate for improvement.
  • Conduct regular analysis of search trends and customer behaviors to support SEM, SEO, and on-site performance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to improve website navigation for an intuitive and efficient user experience.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, inclusive of actionable improvements based on data analysis.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5-year SEO experience within the eCommerce space.
  • Experience with feed/catalog management platforms, preferably Feedonomics.
  • Strong experience utilizing SEO tools to inform insights and workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Strong experience in Excel, PowerPoint and Google Analytics.
  • Strong experience with PPC media platforms (or partnering with paid media teams) and their impact on site performance.
  • Confident and resourceful, can function with minimal supervision.
  • Eager to learn within a collaborative team setting.
  • Has excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to travel as needed.
