Position Summary:

We’re looking for a Marketing & Digital Strategy Manager to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role designed for someone who loves strategy and storytelling just as much as data and digital performance. You’ll serve as a right hand to the agency’s founder, leading campaigns, managing client communication, and executing paid and organic digital strategies across a variety of sectors—especially nonprofit, community, and purpose-driven work in the for-profit space.

You’ll work closely with clients, creators, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on brand, and with measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy & Client Management

  • Translate client goals into integrated marketing plans and timelines
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned clients and contractors
  • Lead client calls, presentations, and reporting conversations with confidence and warmth
  • Keep multiple campaigns organized and moving forward using project management tools, like Airtable, Monday.com or Asana, and Google Workspace

Digital Marketing Execution

  • Plan and manage digital ad campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Display)
  • Set up and manage lead generation funnels, conversion tracking, and landing pages
  • Write and test copy for ads, social posts, and email nurture sequences
  • Monitor performance and optimize campaigns based on KPIs like CTR, CPA, and ROAS

SEO, Analytics & Reporting

  • Conduct keyword research and optimize content and ad copy accordingly
  • Report on campaign performance across channels with clear takeaways and recommendations
  • Use GA4, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and CRM platforms to measure results
  • Support monthly or quarterly summaries for clients with both visuals and insights

Brand & Content Oversight

  • Ensure content and creative assets align with brand strategy and tone of voice
  • Support messaging refinement and marketing storytelling across platforms
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to produce high-quality deliverables
  • Contribute to BSG’s internal content, including blogs, newsletters, and social posts

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing strategy and/or digital campaign management
  • Strong understanding of paid media (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn)
  • Excellent project management skills with a collaborative, low-ego attitude
  • Comfortable leading client-facing communication and interpreting performance data
  • Strong writing and editing skills across short-form (ads, emails) and long-form (blogs, reports)

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working with nonprofits or economic development clients
  • Familiarity with CRMs (Virtuous, Hubspot, Mailchimp) and workflow tools (Asana, Slack)
  • Knowledge of basic design workflows (Canva or Adobe experience a plus)
  • A passion for mission-driven work and ethical, transparent marketing practices

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $60,000–$75,000 DOE
