Job Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing Colada Shop’s marketing initiatives, with a focus on social media content, email marketing, in-store branding, and website updates. This role ensures consistent brand communication, supports marketing campaigns and collaborates with external agencies for specialized services like paid advertising, PR, and design.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Content Creation & Management
- Manage Colada Shop’s Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn, ensuring regular content updates and engagement.
- Create and schedule social media posts, including photos, videos, stories, and reels (light content creation).
- Respond to comments, DMs, and customer inquiries to maintain brand engagement.
- with freelancers or agencies for professional video/photo content as needed.
2. Email Marketing Execution
- Create and schedule weekly/monthly email/ text campaigns (e.g., promotions, new product announcements, events).
- Maintain and segment email subscriber lists for targeted campaigns.
- Monitor email performance (open rates, click-through rates) and report key findings.
3. In-Store Marketing & Branding
- Update menu boards, signage, and printed promotional materials to maintain brand consistency.
- Conduct monthly store marketing audits to assess branding, aesthetics, and visual consistency across locations.
- Ensure that all in-store brand signage and displays are up-to-date and visually appealing.
4. Website Updates & Digital Brand Presence
- Maintain and update the Colada Shop website, including promotional banners, seasonal updates, and menu changes.
- Ensure content is current and visually aligned with the brand.
- Oversee Colada Shop’s presence on Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and other review platforms, managing responses and reputation.
5. Partnerships & Community Engagement
- Assist in coordinating local partnerships and events with community organizations, landlords, and businesses.
- Work with the PR team and influencers to support brand visibility and media coverage.
6. General Marketing Support & Vendor Coordination
- Maintain an updated marketing calendar with key promotional dates and campaigns.
- Support external vendors/agencies with information and asset coordination.
- Assist in gathering and organizing content for advertising, website updates, and printed materials.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in Marketing, ideally in hospitality, food & beverage, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong skills in social media management and content creation.
- Experience in email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Toast, or similar).
- Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for signage and menu design.
- Basic understanding of website updates using Wix, or similar.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for food, hospitality, and community-driven branding.Work Schedule & Expectations
- Full-time role with occasional evening or weekend work for events and promotions.

Pay: $56,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
