Role Summary:

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with the National Hotel quality of service standards, and policies and procedures. Associates will be required to learn other functions in an effort to attain cross training skill sets that will help grow the overall knowledge of the Guest experience expectations.

As someone who has a passion for people, and enjoys a fast-paced environment, a core duty for all Associates is effectively multi-tasking, a quintessential factor to the success of their role.

 

1. Content Creation:

a. Create captivating new content as needed including videos, reels, tik toks, photos and graphics

i. 2 monthly planned content shoots to create content for upcoming month

1. (1) National Hotel/Hotel focus

2. (1) Mareva 1939/FB Focused

b. Attend events, weekly programs, and other activities as needed for new content, behind the scenes footage, event coverage, etc.

 

2. Social Media Management:

a. Post according to social media content calendar, based on Marketing Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing approval on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

i. Facebook and Instagram – 4 posts per week per account

ii. LinkedIn – minimum 1 post per week on National Hotel’s account

b. Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices

c. Manage social media ad spends with Marketing Manager oversight

d. Develop creative ideas on how to navigate campaigns

e. Social media audits, monthly reports and best practice implementation

 

3. Graphic Design:

a. Develop graphics for social media as needed

b. Graphic design projects for National Hotel, Mareva1939, and Website

 

4. Marketing:

a. Assist on all marketing projects including but not limited to:

i. Onsite Events

ii. Website Updates

iii. Photo and Video Shoots

iv. Email Marketing

 

5. Platform and Reputation Management:

a. Respond to all review on all active Yelp and OpenTable accounts for Mareva and any new potential outlets including Spa and new restaurants or bars

b. Respond to all Facebook reviews for hotel and/or additional outlets

c. Manage Brand consistency and hotel imagery on with the approval of manager and department head

i. TripAdvisor

ii. PartySlate

iii. The Knot

iv. Yelp

v. OpenTable

vi. Facebook

 

6. Community Management/Engagement:

a. Managing influencer campaign and strategy

 

Other Tasks which may be assigned:

  • Attend events as needed
  • Administrative office duties as needed and assigned
  • Other duties that may be assigned by manager/department head/director

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

  • Experienced in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva
  • Strong photography and videography skills
  • Strong editing skills
  • Proficient in brand copy writing and caption creation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with social media management tools
  • Preferably – Have completed Bachelor’s In Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Design, or comparable program
  • Preferably – 2+ years experience in content creation, preferably in hospitality and/or lifestyle content

 

Safety Requirements:

All Associates are required to abide by all Safety rules and ensure they perform each task by practicing safe work habits. Any associate who incurs any type of injury is required to report immediately to their immediate supervisor or the Security Officer on duty.

 

Language Requirements:

  • Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with guests. Excellent reading, writing & oral proficiency in the English language – this includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms.
  • Proficiency in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from guests, supervisors, and co-workers.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to sit for long periods of time; walk; full dexterity in use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

 

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

 

Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour

 

Expected hours: 40 per week
