Founded as Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company in 1994, Six Points Theater is nationally-recognized as the preeminent independent professional theater in the United States that looks at life through a Jewish lens. Located in St. Paul, Minnesota, the theater is a point of destination, known for producing bold new plays that look at life through a Jewish lens with provocative stories that are universal and reveal our common threads of humanity.

Since its founding, the theater has completed every fiscal year without debt, and following the pandemic, has re-grown the audience, exceeding total attendance in each year. The theater draws a diverse audience from throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area and beyond, and audiences are about equally Jewish and non-Jewish with the board of directors and staff representing the diversity of the audience.

Programming includes a season of four shows with additional optional offerings, events that complement the work onstage, and new play work. Six Points Theater operates under an SPT agreement with Actors’ Equity Association. For more information about the mission, vision, values and history of the theater go to: sixpointstheater.org.
