Summary/Objective: 

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx are seeking a passionate and creative Lifestyle Content Creator to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for crafting compelling content that showcases our community initiatives, cultural moments, and build our corporate presence, with a specific focus on growing the Packoffcourt accounts. If you have a knack for storytelling, a keen eye for style and culture, and a strong understanding of social media strategy, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities: 

Storytelling & Community Initiatives:

• Create engaging content that highlights our community impact events and initiatives.
• Cover local events to capture and share impactful stories that resonate with our audience.

Corporate Presence:

• Manage and grow the teams’ LinkedIn accounts to enhance our corporate presence.

• Develop content that provides value to corporate partners and showcases successful community initiatives.

Cultural Integration:

• Produce off-the-court content that integrates sports, fashion, fan communities, and real-life and digital interactions.

• Drive a forward-thinking cultural brand that engages fans and goes beyond basketball.

Content Strategy & Execution:

• Collaborate with the Community Impact and Human Resources teams to align content with organizational goals.

• Implement social media strategies to grow the Packoffcourt accounts and increase audience engagement.

Key Performance Indicators: 

Audience Growth:

• Increase followers and engagement on the Packoffcourt social media accounts.

Partnership Sales Inventory:

• Contribute to the creation of partnership sales inventory. // fan content

Additional Requirements:

Travel:

• Local travel required to cover community and corporate events.

Working Hours:

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to align with the NBA and WNBA game schedules.

• Flexibility in the in-office schedule to accommodate event coverage and content creation needs.

Additional information:

Experience:  Minimum one (1) year of content creation experience

Education: : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. Office hours are typically Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-5:30PM. In addition to working office hours staff may be required to work Timberwolves and Lynx home games, member events and meetings, and networking events. Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena which includes bleachers/steps as well as moderate to high levels of noise.

 

Physical Demands

​​​​ The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer and telephone. Staff will frequently ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the arena both on event days and non-event days. Staff may occasionally move objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
