Role Description

This is a hybrid internship role as a Social Media Marketing Intern at HQ Creative (parent company) and our music labels: W.F.O Music and Felicity Music for the Fall 2024 semester. The intern will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to social media marketing, including creating and curating content, managing social media platforms, analyzing data and performance metrics, and assisting with digital marketing campaigns. This role is based in the New York City Metropolitan Area but absolutely allows for remote work.

Qualifications

  • Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation skills
  • Experience or knowledge in Digital Marketing and Marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to create engaging and compelling content
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Video and photography skills optional but one role will likely focus there
  • Experience with social media platforms, (ie: Instagram, TikTok, Youtube…) Adobe products, (premiere, lightroom, photoshop..) and Canva.
  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A passion to create and contributeExperience with graphic design or video editing is a must
  • Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with internal creative team to develop organic social content for various clients
  • This will be mostly music related for our artists and record label
  • Develop a weekly trend report (what is popular)
  • Concepting: Take part in creative brainstorming, pitch ideas and stay abreast of current trends
  • Pre-production: Contribute to video pitch decks, provide video inspiration & references and create visual treatments, shot lists and scripts if needed
  • Shooting: Experience shooting content via iPhone
  • Editing: Work closely with the content team to gather, organize and edit content from recorded material
  • Community management on Instagram and TikTok – engaging with our audience
  • Sourcing on-brand content in the worlds of our collections from Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest & beyond
  • Ability to react to feedback quickly and efficiently
  • Take part in assisting productions
