We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Director of Marketing to join our growing team and lead the development and execution of a comprehensive brand marketing strategy across each of our brands (Kamado Joe, Masterbuilt and Char-Griller). In this pivotal role, you will oversee various aspects of marketing, including creative development, strategic partnerships, event marketing, and public relations. You will be responsible for crafting innovative and impactful marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. Additionally, you will develop and nurture strategic partnerships, spearhead the planning and execution of high-profile events and manage our public relations efforts. In partnership with the VP of Marketing, you will be the architect of our brand image, responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive strategy that resonates with our target audiences and positions each brand for continued success.



· Spearhead creative direction and development of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and messaging from concept to final analysis.

· Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver compelling visual and written content across various channels.

· Innovate and bring fresh, creative ideas to the table to differentiate our brand in the competitive landscape.

· Work closely with the director of culinary to create memorable and impactful experiences that resonate with our target audience.

· Utilize events as opportunities to strengthen brand connections and generate revenue.

· Identify and establish strategic partnerships that align with our brand values and business objectives.

· Develop and nurture relationships with key industry players, and adjacent category collaborators.

· Leverage partnerships to enhance brand visibility, credibility, and market reach.

· Manage marketing partners, agencies, and media relationships.

· Manage and monitor marketing budget for key initiatives.

· Handle all public relations efforts in collaboration with agency partner.

· Manage corporate communications and press relation activities in support of company events, happenings, or other items newsworthy to the public.

· Work with company leaders to determine long and short-term goals and key metrics.

· Develop and lead one marketing manager and three graphic designers ensuring efficiency, teamwork, and goal achievement.

· Strong strategic thinker and tactical executor with the drive to roll-up your sleeves to get things done

· Experience managing in-house teams and agency relationships

· Proven track record for developing holistic brand-first marketing strategies

· Love of all things brand and high attention to detail

· Sense of ownership, ability to manage multiple projects while focused on key priorities

· Ability to translate data into actionable marketing plans

· Excellent verbal and written English language skills.

· Capability to work well under pressure and meet quick deadlines

· Must have good time management skills

· Ability to adapt well to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Passion to change the outdoor cooking experience and contribute to the company vision

· Ability to travel as needed (20-30%)



· 8+ years of progressive responsibility in marketing, brand management or similar experience in a high-performance organization

· 4+ years of team management experience

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field required



· Hybrid work in office environment

· Knowledgeable of office administration principles, practices and techniques
