Role Summary

As a Copywriter at Ethos | VONT, you’ll create engaging, strategic content that brings our clients’ brands to life. While positioned within our web development team, you’ll support the entire creative team across both digital and traditional channels. We’re seeking a versatile writer who can confidently develop brand platforms and voice guidelines, craft user-friendly copy for websites and blogs, and create impactful headlines, taglines, and social media posts—all while maintaining a strategic focus on client objectives.

 

What you’ll do:

• Develop and write compelling copy across various formats and lengths, including content for websites, blog posts, and effective short-form copy for taglines, headlines, and digital ads.
• Tackle brand development initiatives, including creation of messaging frameworks, identity guidelines, and brand voice that define and articulate a brand’s unique personality and tone.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, creative directors, and cross-functional team members to translate client objectives into strategic, impactful copy.
• Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all deliverables.
• Adapt writing style across brands and mediums, tailoring content to reflect each client’s unique voice, brand guidelines, and the specific channel.
• Participate in creative ideation, contributing ideas during brainstorming sessions and bringing fresh perspectives to campaigns and concept development.
• Optimize and implement website content by integrating SEO keywords according to best practices, with a willingness to upload copy directly into the CMS during site builds to ensure seamless integration.

 

What we’re looking for:

• 5 years of copywriting experience, ideally in an agency setting, with a portfolio showcasing varied work.
• Versatility in voice showcasing an ability to adapt writing style and tone to meet diverse client needs.
• Attention to detail and an ability to self edit to ensure clear, concise, and error-free copy.
• A collaborative team member, who approaches work with curiosity and a positive attitude with an eagerness to do the work.
• A forward thinking mindset with an eye on trends, industry developments and continuous learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
