Role Description
Community and Social Media Fellow at Werkville
About the Role:
As a Community and Social Media Intern at Werkville, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the founder to develop and implement social media strategies, event planning, and business development initiatives. Your responsibilities will include creating engaging content for social media platforms, assisting with event planning, and researching business development strategies to secure sponsorships and partnerships. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing and engaging with the community, providing customer service, and supporting community engagement initiatives. The fellow will also have access to career coaching during the fellowship.
Responsibilities:
– Create and manage social media accounts (Instagram, Slack, TikTok, LinkedIn) for Werkville
– Assist in developing a social media content calendar and strategy
– Support the creation of email newsletters and marketing materials
– Assist in planning community events
– Research new business development strategies
Experience:
-Previous internship or class experience with social media/content creation
-Experience creating content/managing social media platforms
-Continuous learner who is open to learning new skills and honing in on their skillset
Additional Details:
– This is a remote position available anywhere in the United States
– The fellow will work 6-10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours
– This fellowship is for college credit and a stipend will be provided as well
-The fellowship will last 1-2 months depending on the success of the fellow
