Position Summary: 

We are seeking a highly creative, trend-savvy Social Media & Content Creator to bring our destination resort experience to life across digital platforms. This role is responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and publishing engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms, while also supporting website updates and marketing communications.

The ideal candidate is equal parts storyteller, content creator, and strategist—someone who can capture the energy of our resort, develop recurring content themes or “characters,” and stay ahead of social media trends to drive engagement and brand awareness.

 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

 

Content Creation & Social Media Management 

    • Plan, create, and publish high-quality photo, video, and short-form content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other emerging platforms

 

    • Capture day-to-day resort experiences including hotel, attractions, dining outlets, and special events

 

    • Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal activities

 

    • Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and emerging channels to keep content fresh and relevant

 

    • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and user-generated content

 

Storytelling & Brand Development 

    • Create compelling visual and written stories that highlight the resort experience.

 

    • Conceptualize and develop recurring content themes, series, or “characters” to build audience connection and brand identity.

 

    • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, F&B, events) to identify content opportunities.

 

Video Production & Editing 

    • Shoot and edit short-form video content optimized for each platform

 

    • Produce reels, TikToks, stories, and behind-the-scenes content

 

    • Ensuring content aligns with brand standards and voice

 

Website & Digital Content Support 

    • Assist with updating website content, landing pages, and promotional pages

 

    • Write and edit content for newsletters, blog posts, and digital campaigns

 

    • Ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints

 

Analytics & Performance 

    • Track and analyze social media performance metrics

 

    • Optimize content strategy based on engagement, reach, and conversion data

 

    • Provide regular reports and insights to VP of Sales & Marketing

 

Qualifications 

    • 2–5+ years of experience in social media, digital content creation, or related field

 

    • Proven experience managing brand accounts on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok

 

    • Strong photography, videography, and editing skills (mobile and/or professional tools)

 

    • Experience with content editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, etc.)

 

    • Excellent writing and storytelling skills

 

    • Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices

 

    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or events as needed

 

    • Experience in hospitality, travel, or lifestyle brands preferred
