The National Institute for Social Media has been working directly with representatives from the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system to create a new online social media certification training curriculum for InterCECT, a consortium of nine MnSCU schools. InterCECT will be the first to offer online Social Media Strategist certification exam prep courses in the United States. The purpose of the NISM Social Media Strategist exam is to validate the foundational skills required of general operators serving in vocations requiring the use of social media. This online training opportunity available to all of our certification candidates this spring. More information about how to register for this exciting new program will be released in the coming months, with an expected start date in the Spring of 2013.
