College and university professors, corporate trainers, and small business owners have free access to one of the most powerful educational tools on the market: social media. You can share a variety of content types easily, engage asynchronously or in real time, and your students are already there.

We’ll cover:

  • Five social media platforms specifically (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube), but the techniques you learn can be applied strategically to any social media platform.
  • Communication types to consider (images, infographics, videos, etc.) and best practices for each.
  • How to use Real-Time Education (RTE) exercises and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) learning to create meaningful learning opportunities for your students.

In this two-week asynchronous course, facilitated through a private group on Facebook, participants will have the opportunity to work at their own pace and apply the suggested techniques to their classroom. Whether you’re a facilitator encouraging new writers, a university professor explaining hard scientific facts, or a small business owner educating your current customers about your product, you can use social media to support your message.

Register today to save your space and join us beginning Monday, August 7th!

NISM Certified? This course qualifies for 3 CEU’s.

This is an amazing course for all types of educators. I took this course not knowing what to expect and feeling maybe a little apprehensive. Everyday there was new content that expanded my understanding of how classrooms can be “social”. Everyday for two weeks you will receive content that you can apply to your classroom immediately. You will receive a lot more than you expected from this course to help you develop proficient classroom management skills using social media. I cannot say enough good things about this course.
