The Social Media Intern will play a hands-on role in content creation, community engagement, and campaign support across Morrie’s Auto Group’s social media platforms. You’ll help bring our brand voice to life – showcasing our vehicles, our people, and our customers through scroll-stopping visuals and authentic storytelling.

This role is ideal for a creative, self-motivated student who loves digital trends, cars, and culture, and wants to gain real-world experience in automotive marketing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation:
    • Assist in planning, filming, and editing short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
    • Capture behind-the-scenes footage at events, dealerships, and community partnerships.
    • Create on-brand graphics and captions for social media posts.
  • Campaign Support:
    • Help brainstorm and execute seasonal or promotional campaigns.
    • Support influencer partnerships, contests, and giveaways.
    • Research trends and competitor activity to inform creative ideas.
  • Brand Storytelling:
    • Collaborate with dealership teams to feature employees, customers, and vehicles.
    • Highlight community events and brand initiatives that reinforce Morrie’s values.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Passion for social media trends, storytelling, and video creation.
  • Familiarity with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and YouTube.
  • Ability to edit content in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere).
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail.

Must have reliable transportation for on-site shoots and events
