About the Role

MarisellaBodrero.com is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to support its social media strategy and content execution. This is a part-time, remote contractor position starting at 8-10 hours per week at $22/hour, with the potential for increased hours as the role evolves.

The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, thrives in a creative space, and understands the cultural nuances of Black and Latina millennial and Gen Z communities. You’ll work closely with the Social Media Strategist and Founder to execute a dynamic content strategy that drives engagement and visibility.

 

Location: Remote (USA Only)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Posting & Scheduling
  • Publish and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Post content manually when needed (e.g., IGTV, IG Stories, TikToks)
  • Video Editing & Content Repurposing
  • Edit TikTok videos and IG Reels
  • Repurpose older videos for bite-sized social media clips using ClipScribe
  • Timestamp lives, coaching calls, and past content for social media posts
  • Engagement & Community Management
  • Respond to comments and DMs on various platforms
  • Research and update relevant hashtags to optimize reach
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Pull and track monthly social media analytics (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
  • Design & Brand Consistency
  • Create Instagram Stories in Canva to promote events and programs
  • Support in maintaining a cohesive and edgy social media aesthetic

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram (Stories, Reels), and LinkedIn
  • Strong video editing skills
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides)
  • Experience using Canva for content creation
  • Knowledge of Black and Latina culture, trends, and digital communication styles
  • Ability to accept and implement feedback effectively

 

Preferred Skills & Tools

  • Graphic design experience with a bold, creative style
  • Proficiency in Slack for team communication
  • iPhone user (for compatibility with certain content tools)
  • Understanding of the coaching and expert industry
  • Experience with YouTube content strategy
