Job Overview

Are you passionate about social media, wellness, and creating a strong connection with audiences? We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator who will be responsible for shaping and executing Bloom’s social media strategy across all platforms, enhancing our brand voice, and driving community engagement. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, a strategic executor, and a trend-savvy individual who understands the unique dynamics of each social platform.

Location:

Strongly prefer Austin, Texas or Los Angeles, California area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of social media content strategies across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more
  • Schedule, post, and monitor daily content to ensure consistency and alignment with brand voice and marketing initiatives
  • Identify trending content, themes and audio and insert brand into the conversation
  • Ideate, create and edit content (images, videos, reels, stories) that engages and resonates with audience
  • Be comfortable on camera and speaking to audience
  • Collaborate with the creative and brand marketing teams to brainstorm and develop content ideas for product launches, campaigns, and promotions
  • Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and authentic manner
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights to optimize content and increase engagement
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, tools, and best practices to drive innovation within the brand
  • Support influencer partnerships, working closely with influencer team to amplify brand messaging
  • Assist in managing social media ad campaigns as needed

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience (2+ years) managing social media accounts in a professional setting, preferably within the wellness or consumer goods industry
  • Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn platforms
  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills
  • Ability to generate creative ideas and content that drives engagement and brand awareness
  • Strong multitasking, time management, and project management skills
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and the ability to analyze performance data
  • Passion for wellness, nutrition, and community-building
