High Tide Rise LLC is seeking a Content Creator who understands how to create content that performs effectively across various social media platforms. The role involves filming, editing, and directing content while applying a deep understanding of social media trends and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Production
• Film high-quality short-form and long-form video content for social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Edit videos optimized for platform-specific formats, pacing, hooks, and retention.
• Capture b-roll, interviews, talking-head content, and real-world action footage.
• Direct shoots in real time and make creative decisions on the fly to improve performance.
• Social Strategy & Platform Expertise
• Apply a deep understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
• Structure content for reach, engagement, and watch time
• Stay current with platform updates and emerging content formats.
• Copywriting & Messaging
• Write compelling hooks, captions, and on-screen text for social content.
• Collaborate on scripting and content outlines when needed.
• Adapt tone and messaging to fit different brands and audiences.
• On-Site Direction & Client Interaction
• Confidently guide business owners, founders, and team members during filming.
• Help subjects feel comfortable on camera and deliver natural performances.
• Act as a creative lead on set while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional experience creating content for social media
• Proven experience filming and editing social-first video content
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Demonstrated knowledge of social algorithms and viral content mechanics
• A portfolio with multiple examples of high-performing or viral content
• Experience writing captions, hooks, and short-form social copy
• Comfortable directing and leading on-site content shoots
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
