Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Associate Social Media Manager to join our Global Social Media Team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Lifestyle & Luxury brand team, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role

Are you a social media brand-builder, who’s passionate about culture? Do you wake up trying to come up with the next new trend or viral moment, just for fun? Hyatt’s global social media team is searching for a creatively inspired storyteller and social media specialist who will serve as a social media steward of its luxury & lifestyle brands.

Reporting to the Senior Social Media Manager, this role is for someone who is deeply immersed in lifestyle and cultural trends and experiences, inspired by cross-functional collaboration, and more simply, likes to do great work. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering social marketing results, with the ability to plan from scratch and drive ideas from conception to execution. We are looking for an Associate Social Media Manager to support the Senior Social Media Manager & the Social Media team’s initiatives and projects, including content creation support, social media calendar development, influencer management, and more.

The Associate Manager will work closely with fellow Social Media Managers and the Director of Content Marketing + Social Media, as well as peers across the Digital, Brand, Communications, and other departments, to ensure the content on Hyatt’s social platforms is a true reflection of the brands and supports social business goals. They will also be responsible for ensuring any content posted on social platforms is relevant to the platform and targeted to the appropriate audience.

•Creating, curating, and publishing social media content for several of Hyatt’s brand’s social media platforms

•Work with teammates on integrated brand campaigns, working cross-functionally with various departments to translate brand campaign objectives into social-first strategies and plans

•Content Creator management (incoming inquiries, evaluation, coordination with hotels, database management)

•Instagram/Facebook Stories ideation & creation for multiple brands

•Hotel toolkit assistance for multi-brand & multi-department promotions or campaigns

•Secondary support for larger campaigns & initiatives (content creation, campaign management, execution assistance)

•Social brand strategy work assistance as needed

•Collaboration with other teams to coordinate and amplify marketing campaigns

•Light community management as needed, flagging customer service needs to Global Care Center

•Leverage user-generated content into social media content via partner tools in unique ways

•Assist with paid media management for ongoing monthly social campaigns on select platforms for the luxury & lifestyle portfolio


Experience Required:

•Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a social media management role

•Knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing

•Creativity and immersion in social media, with in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms

•Strong familiarity with Sprinklr or similar social media management tools

•Ability to work with a variety of partners and team members across different projects

•Highly self-motivated

•Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Experience Preferred:

•Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills

•Excellent writing and language skills

•Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, English or technology-related preferred

•Experience with Photoshop or additional photo editing tools for content creation is a plus

•Graphic design experience a plus
